Industrial Structures

Industrial operations and their facilities are constantly affected by changes in the marketplace, manufacturing processes, litigation or government regulations. When partial or complete removal of facilities is required, CDI’s conventional and explosives demolition experience in a diverse group of industries helps us choose the appropriate mix of demolition methods to remove selected facilities quickly and safely-without harming the environment or hampering remaining operations.

CDI can safely and cost effectively fell massive structures where power plants, steel mills or similar sites are being cleared, or surgically remove selected structures within the confines of operational facilities or adjacent to switchyards to remain, with surprising speed, and within budget.

When structures are damaged, contaminated, or too tall to reach with traditional methods, CDI’s remote explosives operations, combined with minimal preparation requirements, dramatically reduce the duration and nature of exposure/risk to workers. As a result, CDI’s industrial demolition operations are usually completed in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional demolition methods, with CDI’s operations putting more material on the ground quickly for better use of the Contractor’s equipment, and greater safety and speed of debris processing and removal operations.
