CDI is prepared to respond swiftly to structural emergencies, worldwide. Regardless of the cause of collapse, CDI can draw on its unparalleled progressive failure database and professional, third-party structural consultants to work with governmental agencies, property owners and contractors in stabilizing dynamic conditions, setting the stage for subsequent forensic investigation into the cause of the collapse, and emergency demolition operations as may be needed.
Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Responding first to the request of the General Services Administration (GSA) on an engineering basis to support FEMA’s response, and subsequently to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), CDI was able to assist in analyzing the integrity of the unstable Alfred P.
